In support of the CNMI’s Liberation Day festivities, IT&E announced that it has donated a total of $5,000 to the Liberation Day Committee. The amount represents a combination of cash and in-kind donations.

“IT&E has always been a strong supporter of the CNMI’s annual Liberation Day festivities, and we are excited to be signing on as a major sponsor again for this year’s event,” said John M. Compton, IT&E chief operations officer.

Compton is also a U.S. military veteran and a graduate of West Point.

The Liberation Day festivities in the CNMI include the carnival that features a number of vendors selling food, beverages, and other items. Throughout the weeks-long celebration, many entertainers are also showcased on the Liberation Day stage. The celebration culminates with a parade on July 4, 2016, which will feature the artistry, culture, and identities of many cultures and organizations in the CNMI.

“The Liberation Day festivities is one of the biggest and most-anticipated events in the CNMI that brings many people together to celebrate independence,” added Compton. “We are proud that we can assist the planning committee by providing resources to help them put on a spectacular event.” (PR)
