As part of its efforts to strengthen programs and facilities that provide the CNMI’s youth with advance communications tools, IT&E announced that it has donated Internet and other technology resources to all youth centers throughout the CNMI.
“In today’s highly technological world, it’s important to IT&E that we provide our local youth with expanded opportunities for learning and for embracing global connectivity,” said Rose A Soledad, IT&E general manager. “As such, the Internet and phone services that we are providing to CNMI Youth Centers is a significant step in that direction.”
According to IT&E, there are summer camps that will be conducted at these youths centers in the next few weeks so that the donation of Internet services comes in very timely.
“IT&E is proud to support our future leaders, most especially through programs that can help enhance our youth’s educational, personal growth and social skills,” Soledad said.
Youth centers that are now operating under the fastest and most reliable Internet and phone services include Koblerville Youth Learning Center, San Antonio Youth Learning Center, Chalan Kanoa Manhoben Center, Gualo Rai Youth Center, Tanapag Youth Center, Tinian Youth Center, and Rota Youth Center.
IT&E expressed its thanks to the coordinators of each Center who worked tirelessly to provide programs that cater to the youth and their overall wellbeing.
“It is indeed a privilege to partake in an essential community program and we look forward to partnering with the coordinators of each of the youth centers to further empower our children,” Soledad added. (PR)
