Islander Rent-A-Car celebrates their 30th anniversary today. Since the company’s humble beginnings on Saipan, Islander Rent-A-Car now offers an extensive line of Toyota sedans, SUVs, and minivans on Tinian, Rota, and Guam as well.

Marfega Trading Company, Inc. began doing business as Islander Rent-A-Car in 1984. They have maintained the professional, prompt, and friendly service throughout the 10 locations they have on these beautiful islands. Five branches are on Saipan; three are on Tinian, and one each is on Rota and Guam

The company’s owner, Norma Marfega, believes this growth can be attributed to hard work, and to all her supportive employees in listening to customers in attending to their needs.

She says, “My family and I have worked almost 24 hours a day to be where we are now.”

Under Marfega’s tutelage, the company has grown into other fields of business as well. The company, on top of their top-notch rent-a-car service, also does business as ASKS Fashion & Salon, Islander Mini-Mart, and eCenter, an ink refilling and computer service store.

Marfega Trading Company extends its thanks to all its valued customers, from the businesses to government sectors that have provided their patronage throughout these last three decades.

“You have remained faithful to us, and consistent with your continuing patronage and support,” Marfega said. “We will continue to look forward to serving you with the best possible service that we can provide. Thank you for supporting us throughout the years.

Marfega is an accounting graduate from Aquinas University in the Philippines.
