- A DONATION OF SCHOOL SUPPLIES The Saipan Unity Lions Club and Teen Unity Leo’s Club present last Nov. 5, 2020, 50 school bags filled with schools supplies to Oleai Elementary School. The staff and the school’s principal, Jasylene Parico, will distribute the bags to 50 Oleai Elementary School students. The project was made possible through donations from business establishments and club members. This distribution was led by SULC president Alicia Barbo, Atoy Banting, and Leo president Vicky Ancheta. Camacho disclosed at a press briefing last Nov. 6, 2020, that many illicit drugs like crystal meth and fake merchanduse are now coming from the U.S. mainland and are smuggled to the CNMI through mail and packages at the U.S. Post Office. - TOYS FOR TOTS SPONSOR Bank of Guam is now an official 2020 “Toys for Tots” sponsor this holiday season. The “Toys for Tots” program is a charitable initiative hosted by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve that provides toys to disadvantaged children during the Christmas holiday season. The program is spearheaded by the Associated Students of Northern Marianas College and the Saipan Chamber of Commerce’s Saipan Young Professionals.
