- YOUTH CONGRESS MEETS WITH LAWMAKERS 15th CNMI Youth Congress speaker Thomas Manglona II, vice speaker Roselyn Tanghal, legislative secretary Reynafe Aniga, and clerk Christ Castro meet with Lt. Gov. Ralph Torres, Senate President Victor Hocog, and House Speaker Joseph Deleon Guerrero on Monday to discuss their partnership in addressing the critical issues youth in the islands face. The youth leaders and lawmakers discussed the Public School System’s budget, a possible Youth Congress leadership scholarship fund, War on Ice educational outreach, a “Lawmakers in the Classroom” project, and mandatory service hours for all high school students. - BEST SUNSHINE DONATES TO ROTA The Rota Legislative Delegation led by Senate President Victor Hocog and Rota Mayor Efrain Atalig accepts a donation of 25,000 lbs of rice from Best Sunshine International.
