All nine senators voted “yes” to adopt the report of the Senate Committee on Executive Appointments & Government Investigations that recommended the confirmation of the executive appointments of Deleon Guerrero and Seman. - FREEDOM SUMMER CAMP-The Guam National Guard’s Camp Freedom summer camp made a comeback after three years off, at the University of Guam Division of Agriculture and Life Sciences Building Mangilao, Guam, July 2023. Over 80 children of Guam Guard soldiers and airmen spent two weeks in the camp, where they learned about fishery, biology, wildlife, energy conservation, arts and crafts, navigation, ice cream making, finance and budgeting, and just old-fashioned outdoor play with friends. “After going through COVID-19 and a Typhoon, it was great to get this program back up and engage the kids and get them socializing again,” said Lt. Col. Marleen Tarusan-Legaspi of the GUNG Family Programs Office. “It was great to see their smiles again.” (GUAM NATIONAL GUARD)
