- SULC IN ACTION As part of its continued commitment in beautification of the community, the Saipan Unity Lions Club repainted the pavilion located at Tanapag Beach Park. In addition, SULC also repainted two of its adopted bus stops in Tanapag. “We would like to thank our generous donor for providing us with paint materials and our dedicated members in making this project a success,” the group said in a statement emailed to the media. - VANDALS ON TINIAN-Numerous acts of vandalism occurred on Tinian over the weekend, with the Antonio M. Borja Amphitheater’s glass windows being shattered and the Taga Beach white concrete sign defaced with cuss words and other nonsense. The Tinian Department of Public Safety is asking the community’s help in identifying the individual(s) responsible for these acts by calling (670) 433-9222 or the CNMI Crime Stoppers hotline at (670) 234-7272 if you wish to remain anonymous. James Fleming and his Club members have always believed in supporting important community organizations and the Red Cros is grateful for their generosity.
