- TOYS FOR TOTS The municipality of Tinian and Aguiguan received $1,000 worth of toys and sporting equipment yesterday for their 2016 Toys for Tots Program from Imperial Pacific International, Ltd. through chief services officer Tao Xing and Corporate Social Responsibility executive director Geri Dela Cruz and her team. - MISS MARIANAS Stellar Marianas beauty queens join the Marianas Visitors Authority’s Christmas in the Marianas parade last Saturday. Miss Marianas Peachy Quitugua and Miss Teen Marianas Palanga Taimanao of Rota waved to the crowd, sharing the holiday cheer with the island community. Stellar Marianas, in collaboration with MVA, continues to make the promotion of the CNMI locally and internationally top priority. In 2017, both Miss Marianas and Miss Teen Marianas will implement their platforms as beauty queens. Quitugua will focus on mental and physical health and education of female adolescents, while Taimanao will design and create a garden of local medicinal herbs. (Contributed Photo)
