Isla Financial Services is suing disbarred lawyer Ramon Quichocho’s wife, Frances, for alleged failure to pay a $9,641.94 loan she obtained last year.

Isla Financial, through counsel S. Joshua Berger, asked the Superior Court to hold Frances Quichocho liable to pay for damages totaling $9,641.94, plus interest, court costs, and attorney’s fees.

Saipan Tribune emailed the Quichocho couple for comments. There was no reply as of press time. The Quichochos were last reported to be in Tacoma, Washington.

Berger stated in the complaint that Frances Quichocho obtained a $10,000 loan from Isla Financial Services in October 2013. As of Aug. 12, 2014, she is in default in the principal amount of $9,641.94, Berger said. (Ferdie de la Torre)
