Laolao Bay Golf & Resort inaugurated its International Golf Academy in July this year, which is led by U.S. pros Mark Steinbauer and Mancil Davis.

Steinbauer, also one of the PGA’s Top 100 golf instructors who worked with renowned PGA pro K.J. Choi and eight-year pro Roland Thatcher, will serve as the director of instruction.

Davis is the world-acclaimed “King of Aces” after holding PGA’s world record for most official hole-in-ones with 51.

The academy aims to guide and provide the right program for young golfers to accomplish cutting-edge academics, world-class athletics, and most importantly a strong character tailored to prepare them for their next step in life both on and off the golf course.

Classes officially kick off in January or March 2012; total capacity for the school is about 45.

The academy also offers up to a 10-month program, which includes room and board, golf instruction, and schooling and even private lessons to the public available by appointment.
