Insulted

I’m surprised and insulted that my brother David M. Sablan, (May 14/Saipan Tribune), who is part Carolinian, does not understand or has no inkling how deep our culture and traditional beliefs connect us to our ancestral land, or how our ancestral land connect us.

With all due respect to my brother Dave, our families expected him to know far better. His statement shows how deep, and far disconnected, Dave is from his Carolinian heritage.

As a member of high clan, I’m insulted!

If you wanted to abolish Article 12, conduct public education first, through village meetings in our local language for several years, instead of shoving your idea down our throats without giving us time to digest.
