The Saipan Little League Board Inc. will be holding two important meetings this week to finalize plans that the group will be presenting to businesses interested in helping them in the upcoming 2016 season.

SLLBI president A.J. Palacios Murig said the first meeting is tomorrow, Dec. 16, 5:30pm at the conference room of the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium.

The board, Murig said, will discuss how they would present their plans to potential sponsors on how can they become partners of the CNMI’s longest-running youth baseball program.

“The main agenda is the details for our sponsors, corporate or any type, on how they can help the SLLBI in general,” Murig said in a text message.

The next meeting is on Friday, Dec. 18, also 5:30pm at the Ada Gym conference room where they would be inviting interested sponsors that would like to assist the youth program.

Friday’s gathering will be a round table-type of meeting representatives of the business sector and other individuals who wanted to help the Saipan Little League program.

“It will be like a round table discussion between the board and all interested sponsors,” added Murig.

The SLLBI is also in the process of finalizing schedules and other matters for the 2016 season, which the board is targeting to open by mid-January.
