The success of the Hyatt Regency Saipan 20th Annual Charity Golf Classic event was overwhelming.

Formally known as the Club at the Hyatt Golf Classic, the 20th Annual Charity Golf Classic was held last Saturday, April 23, at the Laolao Bay Golf and Resort west course.

With generous in-kind and cash donations, this year’s golf classic was nothing short of success—a success the hotel could not have achieved without the heartfelt contributions of event partners, sponsors, players, and volunteer associates.

All proceeds will go to the event’s primary beneficiary, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, aiding them in their mission to grant wishes to children with life-threatening diseases and the Northern Marianas Trades Institute as a secondary beneficiary as they continue in their mission to develop and train essential trade skills to enhance our community.

“On behalf of Hyatt Regency Saipan, we would like to thank all the event partners, sponsors, golf players, and volunteer associates for their dedication, generosity, and enthusiasm. Their support will grant wishes for our Make-A-Wish Foundation recipients and open new opportunities for the Northern Marianas Trades Institute. When we take care of our community with shared commitment and partnerships, goals are met and community relationships are forged. The impact we made together for the past 20 years, and the impact we again made this year could not have been possible without your continued involvement and dedication. And, for this, I personally extend my sincerest gratitude,” said Hyatt general manager Nick K. Nishikawa.

“The Hyatt Regency Saipan 20th Annual Charity Golf Classic will remembered as one of the premier events of the year. Our event partners and sponsors once again exceeded our expectations in support of our beneficiaries. I, personally, would like to thank our team of hardworking and dedicated volunteer associates who initiated planning and organizing of the event earlier this year. Their extra attention to details ensured the event ran smoothly. As we begin planning for our next tournament, the Hyatt Regency Saipan 21st Annual Charity Golf Classic we look forward to partnering with our island community again in creating another memorable event,” said Hyatt Regency Saipan director of Food and Beverage Tyrell Pauling.

The sponsorship tiers for this year’s event were as follows:

-Platinum: $2,000 in cash or in-kind donations

-Gold: $1,500 in cash or in-kind donations

-Silver: $750 in cash or in-kind donations

-Bronze: Less than US$750 in cash or in-kind donations. (PR)
