Hyatt announces Heroes’ Barbecue

In honor of Veterans Day and in celebration of the festive Thanksgiving season, Hyatt Regency Saipan will give back and say thanks. For the second year, the hotel will donate proceeds from its Heroes’ Barbecue to the Commonwealth of Northern Mariana Islands’ Operation Homefront. The hotel will also purchase care package items and assist in their packaging through its corporate responsibility platform, Hyatt Thrive.

One-night event
On Nov. 14, 2014, Hyatt Regency Saipan invites island community members and leaders to join the hotel for a one-night event: Heroes’ Barbecue.

“We want our guests to enjoy what the hotel has to offer—exceptional service and delicious local fare—while actively participating in this humbling cause,” said Director of Food and Beverage Tyrell Pauling. The Heroes’ Barbecue will feature live entertainment, free-flowing Miller Lite and Murphy-Goode Homefront wine and iced tea, all for $45 (valued at $55) per person.

Tickets are available at the following locations: PTC’s the Wine Cellar; Triple J Truck Load, Chalan Kanoa; Hyatt Regency Saipan’s front desk and restaurant outlets

CNMI Operation Homefront
CNMI’s Operation Homefront is a program created by several volunteers who gather once a year around Thanksgiving to give thanks to CNMI service members for the many freedoms we enjoy today. The care packages the program sends include letters of support from school children, newspapers, magazines, postcards, T-shirts, local favorite packaged foods and other items that are unique to the islands.

Special thanks to our event partners Triple J and Pacific Trading Co. (Hyatt)
