How About an ‘Others Day’?
Some folks never become a father or a mother
I think some “others” deserve a day of honor
after problems with a significant other
it should not mean they are a social goner
so each endures a separation survival
and begins a search for an “other” revival
do they need a Survival/Revival Day
how about Bachelor’s or an Old Maid’s Day
“Others” can be all those and still Uncle/Aunt
There is Father’s, Mother’s and Groundhog Day
Memorial, Veteran’s and Independence Day
D-Day, Liberation Day and President’s Day
neighbor’s in Japan celebrate “Children’s Day”
with respect and honor to fathers and mothers
let’s have a day to celebrate all the “Others.”
A Food Conservative Repressive
I read a lot about Liberal Progressives
in agreement perhaps I am such a person
DC GOP seems Conservative Repressive
from 45 and Moscow Mitch take lessons
a senescent old pilgrim in a divided land
a muscle builder has a six pack of abs
my body crumbles and fat takes command
looking at myself I see a six pack of flabs
got a pound of fat under each of my arms
three girdles of fat wind around my waist
eating too much from beef and pork farms
sweet salty snacks filled with sugary paste
stay away from fat and be more aggressive
I’ll become a food conservative repressive.
