The House of Representatives minority bloc and the Governor’s Council of Economic Advisers will be partnering to work on two beautification projects on Rota over the weekend. The two groups will be revitalizing the Sinapalo Youth Center and Sinapalo Basketball Court.

According to minority bloc spokesperson Rep. Angel Demapan (R-Saipan), some minority bloc members and staff already went to Rota yesterday, while others will be flying to Rota today.

Demapan shared that the GCEA had plans to celebrate its first anniversary with a meeting on Rota this weekend, and that he and the minority bloc used the opportunity to partner up with the group for these two off-island projects.

“We’re excited to do our first project outside of Saipan and leave an imprint of our work there,” said Demapan.
