House congratulates Tasi Tours

In celebration of the 40th anniversary of Tasi Tours & Transportation Inc., the leading tour operator in the CNMI was congratulated and saluted by the 19th House of Representatives last Sept. 15.

According to the resolution the House adopted, Tasi Tours & Transportation and its affiliates have been leading the charge in trying to bring back the CNMI’s fruitful tourism industry.

“Tasi Tours & Transportation Inc., in combination with the Japan Travel Bureau, and its affiliates Pacific Micronesia Tours Inc., has been the leading pioneer in the growth and development of the tourism industry in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.”

Tasi Tours & Transportation Inc. has also been assisting the local economy by having a 62 percent local workforce.

According to House Resolution 19-49, “Tasi Tours & Transportation Inc. is a model company to the CNMI, leading the efforts in strengthening the tourism industry as well as unselfishly contributing immensely to the community.”

Tasi Tours & Transportation Inc. is a transportation business that was founded on March 24, 1985.
