Hot Shots rallied in the final innings to beat 670 Babes, 11-10, last Sunday in the 2022 Budweiser Belau Amateur Softball League at the Dandan Softball Softball Field.

670 Babes spoiled their 7-0 lead in the fourth inning when the Hot Shots found their footing and awakened from their slumber to lumber up two runs in the fourth inning and four runs in the fifth to catch up, 7-6.

However, the Hot Shots pitcher silenced 670 Babes in the fifth and sixth inning and gave her offense a chance to creep up in the decisive last innings.

670 Babes and Hot Shots’ pitchers had six strikeouts each and although impressive, it was the Hot Shots’ offense that rallied in the end.
By this time in the sixth inning, the Hot Shots popped off five more runs to give themselves a comfortable lead of 11-7. 670 Babes put up a last-ditch effort but welled up only five runs—one run short to succumb to the Hot Shots, 11-10.

Hot Shots’ Ashlei Aguon brought the most runs in with three, followed by Brit Lizama, then one apiece for Becky Repeki, Janica Lizama, Janine Celis, and Ann Juliet Lifoifoi.

Tiah Camacho of the 670 Babes conjured three RBIs and one triple, while Lizann Deleon Guerrero came up with two RBI’s, and Catalina Dela Cruz, Julie Palacios, and Edilynn Benjamin had an RBI apiece.

This game brought the Hot Shots at 2-2 and 670 Babes at 1-3 in the standings.
