Ally Hong is the new director of Rooms of Hyatt Regency Saipan. She joined the team last month bringing her 22 years of experience in the hospitality industry. A seasoned hotelier, Hong is responsible for improving Hyatt’s room services, developing and monitoring revenue, and most of all, focus on creating and giving excellent guest experience from the moment they make the booking to check-out and beyond.

Hong holds a degree in Business Administration in European Studies in the Division of International and Area Studies. She started her hospitality career as housekeeping order taker and room inspector in Lotte Hotel Ulsan in 2001.

Two years later, she started her career with Hyatt and held the position shift leader guest services and reservations at Hyatt Regency Incheon. In 2007 to 2019, Hong branched out of Marriott Executive Apartments Seoul and Sheraton Incheon.

Hong’s passion in handling rooms and revenue placed her in various roles that includes front office manager, executive housekeeper, specializing in room operating systems and heading revenue departments as executive director of revenue strategy. 

Hong returned to the Hyatt family as housekeeping manager at Grand Hyatt Seoul in 2019 and advanced to director of rooms in 2021. She is excited to work on Saipan and is ready to boost further Hyatt Regency Saipan in meeting guest needs and expectations from a Hyatt brand.
