Homeboyz, Deadshot clash in Bud Cup finals
The Jokers Homeboyz and the Hobbies Deadshot arranged a title showdown for Budweiser Cup Thursday Open 8-ball crown after beating separate opponents in separate semis matches last week.

The Homeboyz completed a 9-6 upset win over regular season champions Wild Bill’s while the Deadshot routed Jonny’s Team SCS, 9-3.
Today’s finals, however, will be rescheduled due to Typhoon Nangka. The Deadshot were going to host the Homeboyz in their home bar at Jokers.
The Homeboyz also defeated the Abyss Rack ‘N’ Roll while the Deadshot beat the Smoke Pub Magic 8-Ball on their way to the finals.
The Abyss Titans clinched the regular season crown with Wild Bill’s placing second. Regular season topnotcher Route33 Alamo Car Rental finished third while the Homeboyz fourth.
In the Tuesday league, the Jokers IT&E Voyagers and Abyss Crazy 8 moved on to the semifinals after dispatching separate foes in the race-to-nine series.
The Voyagers and Crazy 8 completed 9-8 win over the Smoke Pub Armatech Hustlers and Jokers STR8 Shooters last July 7.
The semis matches are set next Tuesday with the Smoke Pub Ali’I Destroyers and the Abyss Homeboyz II forming the other pair. The finals is on July 21.
The Voyagers ruled the regular season with the Hustlers and Crazy 8 placing second and third, respectively.
The awards banquet will be held on July 26, Sunday, 10:30am to 3:00pm at Pacific Islands Club’s Charley’s Cabaret.
