High surf and small craft advisory
Based on the information received from the National Weather Service in Tiyan, Guam, and compiled at the CNMI Emergency Operations Center State Warning Point, fresh to strong trade winds and combined seas of 10 to 12 feet will produce hazardous conditions for operators of small craft this week.
A high surf advisory remains in effect until 6pm Thursday.
For east facing reefs, surf will be hazardous at 10 to 13 feet through Wednesday. The surf will remain hazardous through Thursday.
For north facing reefs, surf will be hazardous at 8 to 10 feet through Wednesday. The surf will remain hazardous through Thursday.

Fresh to strong trade winds and combined seas of 10 to 12 feet will produce hazardous conditions for operators of small craft the next few days.
The EOC is advising the public and inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller vessels, to avoid sailing in these conditions. Avoid venturing near reefs along exposed beaches, especially those facing north and east. Rip currents will be life-threatening. (EOC)
