High surf and small craft advisory

Share

A large swell generated by distant Typhoon Neoguri have begun to subside but will remain high enough to generate hazardous surf until Wednesday. A high surf advisory remains in effect until 4pm Wednesday.

Surf on both west facing and north facing reefs will subside below hazardous levels by Wednesday evening.

A small craft advisory remains in effect until 6pm today, Tuesday.

Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller vessels, should avoid boating in these conditions. Avoid venturing near exposed reefs and beaches as rip currents is life threatening. (PR)
