High surf seen to subside today

Share

Buoy readings from the Marianas and computer model data indicate that a north-northwest swell from former Typhoon Vongfong continue to impact the Marianas. Hazardous surf of 7 to 9 feet along north facing reefs will fall below hazardous levels this morning.

The public is advised to avoid venturing near exposed reefs and beaches, especially those along north facing reefs as rip currents will be life threatening. (HSEM)
