Heartfelt thanks to Rep. Barcinas

Share

When told that our neighborhood had inadvertently been left out of the Saipan street naming project, and despite our not even being in his precinct, Rep. Donald Barcinas worked selflessly and tirelessly to shepherd through passage of the local legislation (House Local Bill 20-22) necessary to name our two little, forgotten streets. As a result, emergency and other service providers will now find it far easier to find us, which is no small issue when you consider that our neighborhood has a significant number of elderly and disabled people.

A warm and humble si yuus maase to you, Rep. Donald C. Barcinas. You are the best kind of public servant, one that helps constituents for the simple reason that it is the right thing to do. The people of the CNMI are fortunate to have you representing our interests. A special thank you is also due to Mr. Henry Hofschneider of the Saipan Mayor’s Office and to Gov. Ralph Torres for signing the legislation into law. This small but worthwhile public project would not have happened without you all working together in support.
