‘Health is the BEST Wealth’ fair tomorrow in Kagman

The public is invited to attend the “Health is the BEST Wealth” fair scheduled for tomorrow, Nov. 20, 2021 from 8:30am to 12pm at the Kagman Community Center. 

This is an event planned for CNMI residents of all ages, especially those living in the Precinct 5 community, to promote active healthy activities and provide access to a variety of exhibitors who will share outreach and educational topics about healthy choices, healthy lifestyles and prevention. 

How will it work? Community participants will get a passport at registration. For every activity they participate in or exhibitor they visit, they will get a stamp. Once they go through at least seven of the exhibits and/or activities, they will get a giveaway that promotes healthy activity.  There will also be a finale raffle with a grand prize of a Fitbit! All participants who complete their passport will automatically be included in the raffle. Finally, a healthy grab-and-go lunch will be provided for all participants, while supplies last.

• CHCC Non-Communicable Disease Bureau
• Kagman Community Health Center, Inc
• Marianas Health
• PSS HALIGI AWARE Mental Health program 
• NMI Basketball Federation
• Catherine Perry 
• Dee Clayton
• John Gerald Pangelinan

Activities schedule:
-8:30am: Taiji/Qi Gong with Catherine Perry
-9:15am: Taiji/Qi Gong with Catherine Perry
-10:30am: Zumba with Dee Clayton
-11:15am: Basketball with NMI Basketball Federation and John Gerald Pangelinan

This event is sponsored by the offices of Precinct 5 representatives and has been approved by the COVID-19 Task Force.  The COVID safety guidelines of the 3-W’s will be enforced (Wash your hands, Wear a Mask, Watch your distance). (PR)
