HANMI golf tourney set for June 18

One of the most highly anticipated annual golf tournaments in the Northern Mariana Islands is set to tee off on June 18 as the 15th Annual HANMI Charity Golf Classic Tournament prepares to offer golfers the chance to win enticing prizes.
This year’s tournament will again be held at LaoLao Bay Golf & Resort and will be open to the first 144 paid registrants. Cash and numerous in-kind prizes await the winners, and proceeds of the tournament will be contributed to community charities.
“We’re bringing back the Blackjack Double Peoria format that was so popular last year, as well as the Championship flight. Golfers will again be able to request their preferred pairing, and registration fees will remain the same as last year,” said tournament chairman Paul Park of LaoLao Bay Golf & Resort, “We encourage all golfers to mark their calendars for the 15th HANMI Charity Golf Classic Tournament on June 18. It’s going to be great.”
Registration forms will be available shortly on the HANMI website at www.saipanhotels.org, and at Mariana Country Club, Pacific Islands Club Saipan, Fiesta Resort & Spa, Hyatt Regency Saipan, and LaoLao Bay Golf & Resort. Early bird tournament fee is $110 for payments received by 3pm, June 15. The fee includes green fee and the awards banquet. The fee increases to $130 after the early bird deadline. For an additional $30, players may also compete for optional play prizes. The tournament will start at 7am.
