The 20th Annual HANMI Charity Classic Golf Tournament will be held on Sept. 17, 2022, at LaoLao Bay Golf & Resort west course.
“The Hotel Association of the Northern Mariana Islands is pleased to announce the return of our annual tournament in September,” said HANMI chair Ivan Quichocho. “For two decades, HANMI has been benefiting charitable organizations and worthy causes through our tournament, and we are incredibly grateful to all our sponsors and supporters for making this possible. Under the leadership of chair Juko Ishikawa, our tournament committee is working to deliver another great tournament on Sept. 17, and we invite everyone to be a part of this milestone tournament.”
The tournament will be open to the first 144 paid registrants. Registration forms will be available shortly at www.saipanhotels.org or www.facebook.com/HANMI670.
“We always aim to make the HANMI golf tournament better each year, and we hope to do the same in 2022,” said Ishikawa, who has been a part of the HANMI golf tournament committee since 2005. “Everyone has a chance to win with HANMI, thanks to our popular blackjack double Peoria format. We hope everyone will participate again this year..”
The early bird tournament fee is $120 and includes green fee and the awards luncheon. The fee increases to $140 after the early bird deadline on Friday, Sept. 3, at 5pm. For an additional $30 players may also compete for optional play prizes, including longest drive (male and female), accurate drive, aggressive drive, and four chances for nearest to the pin. Showtime is 6am and the tournament will start at 7am. The awards banquet will immediately follow the tournament at LaoLao Bay Golf & Resort.
Sponsor packages include Hole-in-One, Presidential Suite, Deluxe, Superior, VIP and In-kind, providing various levels of complimentary player slots, and publicity and marketing.
