Guerrero, Tudela duel for Amigo’s June Ace honors
The pair ended up tied with identical net scores of 146 after the conclusion of the club’s qualifying and final rounds held last on June 10 at the in Talafofo golf course.
Guerrero shot a 45 on the front nine and finished the backside with a 44 for a gross tally of 89 that adjusted into a field-low 68 net qualifying score back.
She then jotted down a 52 on the front and a 47 on the back nine in last Sunday’s final round for a net score of 146 after the second handicap adjustment.
Tudela qualified just a stroke behind her and ended up tied with Guerrero after completion of Sunday’s round.
On June 10, he posted a 41 at the turn and came to the clubhouse with an even 40 for a raw total of 81 that worked into a 69 net card, and then shot a 42 on the front nine and finished with 47 for an overall net total of 146 on Sunday.
Third place finisher Diding Hocog just missed being part of a three-way tie by just one stroke.
Guerrero and Tudela will be paired with one another in Amigo’s July Ace qualifier, scheduled for this Sunday, July 8, at the Kingfisher Golf Links, where their front nine net scores will determine who wins the June Ace honors.
The winner will be included in the club’s season’s ending Ace of Aces tournament. Amigo’s final round is scheduled for July 22 also at Kingfisher.
