The films were first released at an invitation-only screening for the 2016 Guam International Film Festival on Nov. 16. Among the three featured Docomo Pacific short films were, Shoebox Memories, directed by Ricalde See You Later, directed by Gonzales, and People’s Choice Award winner for GIFF 2016, Kids From Chuuk, directed by Filush.

“This is the second year of Docomo Pacific shorts, and we are happy at how enthusiastic the community has been toward the films we produced. We look forward to touching more lives and supporting new talent in the years to come,” said Rodriguez.

“It’s very important that today we recognize [the directors] and recognize the local talent that we have in Guam, and also recognize the producers, Bobby [Bonifacio Jr.] and Docomo Pacific, for being able to inspire them and helping them live out this dream,” said Bonifacio.
