Guam Guard soldiers graduate from the U.S. Army master leaders course

Sergeants first class Czyz Leonen, Carlito Dahilig and Brian Cruz, from the Guam Army National Guard, became the first Guam Guard soldiers to attend and graduate from the U.S. Army’s master leaders course, on Aug. 27, at the Noncommissioned Officers Academy in Fort Stewart, Georgia. 

The master leaders course curriculum included APA-style writing, mission command, army warfighting functions, joint operations planning and MDMP. 

MLC is a new course created by the U.S. Army Center of Excellence to develop adaptive and critical thinking leaders. MLC is now a professional military education requirement for promotion to the rank of master sergeant. (PR)
