Airmen from the Guam Air National Guard’s 254th Force Support Squadron (254FSS) departed over the weekend en route to a deployed location in support of Operation Inherent Resolve in Southwest Asia.
The Airmen of the 254FSS will enhance combat readiness by providing worldwide agile combat support and community services by delivering superior morale, welfare, recreation, manpower, and personnel programs services.
The Guard asks the public for their continued support as this deployment will, once again, have a significant impact on our Air Guard component. “These Airmen join other Airmen, from the 254th RED HORSE Squadron and the 254th Security Forces Squadron, who are currently deployed or supporting missions around the world. Please keep them and these Airmen in your thoughts and prayers now as they prepare to deploy and for the duration of their deployment.”
More Airmen are scheduled to leave in the coming days and weeks as required. The Airmen will be deployed for approximately six months. (PR)
