Griffins are the pride of SAEF School, Kids Cove

Saipan American Education Foundation School teachers and coaches have their picture taken with their proud students. (Contributed Photo) Griffins, the nickname of students at Saipan American Education Foundation School, brought home major awards from the Primary Grade Forensic Competition-Regional held at the San Antonio Elementary School on April 21, 2012.

Deirdre Rosete, a 4th grader, got two gold medals, one for Dramatic Interpretation and another for Reader’s Forum. Xiao Ling Na Hodson Qian, a 5th grader, got a gold medal in Impromptu.

The 2nd grade group of Alianna Sublemente, Amy Rayn Soliman, Derrick Sese, Christian Troy Rosimo, and Elizabeth Bonto won a silver medal for Choral Speaking.

Bronze medals went to the 5th grade Choral Speaking group of Kassandra Myka Villegas, Maverick Irang, Dondi Ferrer, Curtis Mostales, and Xiao Ling Na Hodson Qian.

The Choral Speaking team of 5th graders Jeggier Labao, Rejenemhay Jingco, Christian Aldan, and Aaron Pascua won fourth place.

Grace Rosete, Darlene Sobremisana, Rosalie Habijan, Levi Sobremisana, and Criselda Aldan were the coaches.

Reader’s Forum: Vladimir Radge Palma, Grades 3-5 Division

Impromptu, Christian Aldan, 5th grade

Duo: Aaron Pascua and Dondi Ferrer, 4th & 5th grade

Humorous Interpretation: Curtis Mostales. 5th grade
