Great Stories Club continues at JKPL
Calling all teens! The Great Stories Club is restarting after Super Typhoon Yutu. The next meeting will take place on Saturday, Jan. 19, from 12:30pm to 2:30pm.
If interested, sign up online here (https://goo.gl/forms/IYLvrMVdjwKe6hnW2), or visit the library to sign up! This month, we will be discussing the book March: Book 3 by Andrew Aydin, Nate Powell and John Lewis—this is a wonderful graphic novel about the Civil Rights movement.
Unlike the previous book club sessions, effective in January, the Great Stories Club will meet once per month, after which meeting the participants will be able to keep the book. Food will be provided, and participants will receive an additional fun prize! If you or someone you know is interested —please sign up with the above link or in the library! We look forward to seeing you there!
Programs and activities are sponsored by the Friends of the Joeten-Kiyu Public Library, and are made possible by IMLS Grant # LSTA LS-00-18-0052-18 and IMLS Grant # LSTA LS-01-18-0058-18.
