The members of the CNMI Republican Party board extend their tirow and appreciation for the overwhelming support and guidance from the Refaluwasch community on Sunday, July 27, 2014.

“I am humbled by the show of support from the Refaluwasch community for taking the lead during Sunday’s gathering. GOP Refaluwasch Club chairman Jack Ogumoro and I are also humbled by the show of support from the candidates, families, and supporters during the gathering. It was a time not only to meet the candidates and listen to local issues but, most importantly, it was a time to rekindle friendships and family ties,” said GOP president James Ada.

Joe Limes said the Sunday gathering provided a venue to promote and showcase the Refaluwasch culture and traditions. “Community gatherings like these are special moments to share wisdom, to heal, and to promote that which binds us together,” said Limes.

Gus Kaipat and his talented crew coordinated the lively event, which featured various cultural dances from a number of talented groups. “We look forward to September for the Chamolinian Heritage Month where we will continue this kind of gatherings to showcase our island hospitality,” said Kaipat.
