Good Friday Mt. Tapochao Trek

- Father James Balajadia conducted a short mass at the base of Mt. Tapochao before devotees carry the 28-foot tall cross to the top of the mountain last Friday.
- The 28-foot tall cross was laid at the base of Mt. Tapochao while devotees waited for the carrying of the cross to start.
- A 28-foot tall cross was unloaded from the back of a truck at around 5:30am last Friday morning at Mt. Tapochao.
- Volunteers that tended the Office of the Governor’s tent passed out fruits and water bottles at the base of Mt. Tapochao before participants started their trek last Friday morning.
- The Saipan Cyclers group rode their bikes up Mt. Tapochao last Friday in commemoration of Good Friday. The group has been riding up Mt. Tapochao for the last six years.
- Many joined the trek up Mt. Tapochao last Good Friday, April 14. The hike was done in remembrance of the suffering of Jesus Christ on the day he was crucified at the peak of Mt. Calvary.
- Devotees carried the 28-foot tall cross up Mt. Tapochao at around 6am last Friday.
- Many volunteered to carry the 28-foot tall cross to the top of Mt. Tapochao and mount it last Friday morning.
