GMS students excel at speech, debate competition

Green Meadow School supports and emphasizes in its academic programs the National Forensic League’s mission of promoting speech and debates activities in high and middle schools as a tool to develop students’ essential life skills and values, which is also one of the motivations at GMS in encouraging and sending its eligible students to NFL and other forensic competitions.

On Oct.18, 2014, all members of the 6th grade class at GMS competed at the National Junior Speech and Debate Association competition held at Hopwood Junior High in San Antonio, Saipan, with outstanding results. Competing against 6th to 8th grade students from various schools, all six GMS students won honors! 

The management and staff of Green Meadow School congratulate Xavier Gatmaitan, Mikee Mendoza, Bernard Marcelo, Gia Hemley, MIles Navarro and Lester Satur for job well done. GMS Falcons soar one again! Special thanks to volunteer judge Francis Fidelino and sixth grade parents for supporting the students during the event.
