Five students of Green Meadow School competed in the Elementary Academic Challenge Bowl last April 22, 2017 at the Pedro P. Tenorio Multi-Purpose Hall and landed in fifth place after accumulating 340 points after three rounds.

The elementary ACB is for 4th to 5th grade students. Contestants come from both private and public schools. It involves three rounds: easy, average, and difficult round.

Fifth graders Areeza Gaile Anda, Jeremiah Kristan Alfred, Nicole Danielle Sacramento, and fourth graders Aaro Solana Hunter and Chealzka Navarro were the GMS participants.

The participants were coached by Liz Espiritu (History), Liza Quiambao (Math), Meliza Umali (Science), Virgie Ogerio and Rosalie Habijan (Language Arts), and Jason Aia (Current Events).

Milagros Songcuan, GMS president and principal, thanked the teachers, coaches, and parents who worked hard to help prepare the students. She also extended her gratitude to the students for their determination to excel. (PR)
