GMS Falcons compete in Junior Thespian

Twenty-two students from Green Meadow School participated in the first round of the Junior Thespian held last Sept. 16 at the Francisco M. Sablan Middle School.

Out of the 22, 15 made it to the podium after getting superior, excellent, and good rankings from a panel of judges in the monologue, solo musical, and duet acting and musical categories.

“We are very proud of our students’ achievement, especially since it was their first time to compete in the Junior Thespian. A job well done GMS students,” GMS principal Milagros Songcuan said.

“We would also like to congratulate and acknowledge our hard-working teachers for their efforts and patience in training our students. A big thank you also goes out to the students’ parents for their unwavering support,” the GMS principal added.

GMS students will participate in two more preliminary rounds of the competition in their bid to advance to the Junior Thespian Finals that will be held in February.

The following are the students who placed in the first round of the Junior Thespian:

Areeza Anda, 3rd/ Superior in Monologue
Darren Tabora, 5th/Superior in Monologue
Ariel Legaspi, 3rd/Superior in Solo Musical
Chloe Lagmay and Sabino Cabrera, 2nd/Superior in Duet Acting
Josh Coloma and Kristin Dela Cruz, 4 th/Excellent in Duet Acting
Honey Satur and Elijah Umali, 4th/ Excellent in Duet Musical
Raeka Lantin/Daniel Gonzales, 5th/Excellent in Duet Musical
Krizel Drilon and Nicole Sacramento, 5th/Excellent in Duet Acting
Lorenz Espiritu, 5th/Good in Solo Musical (PR)
