Harvest Day at Green Meadow School means parents, students, teachers, and staff wearing different costumes. Sounds like Halloween but, instead, the school celebrates the occasion to remind everyone of their many blessings.

Those were exactly what spectators saw last Oct. 28, 2017, at the Pedro P. Tenorio Multi-Purpose Center, when the school celebrated Harvest Day, with everyone dressed in various outfits.

Harvest Day is celebrated at GMS yearly. Children and adults alike put on their superhero, prince/princess, community helpers, animal, or fairy tale character costumes to show gratitude to God for the bountiful harvest we are enjoying in our daily lives.

Each grade level showcased their talents. Students from infants and toddlers to the 7th grade prepared dance numbers, modeling stints, and song interpretations.

Aside from the fun, lucky families went home with special prizes from the raffle drawings.

The program ended at around 9pm. (PR)
