This weekend’s show will feature world-class ballet stars Alexey Nasadovich, Margarita Radian, and their daughter performing an excerpt of the Swan Lake, a ballet based on a Russian folktale that tells the story of a princess turned into a swan by an evil sorcerer’s curse. It will also include performances of over 40 students of Glushko’s Academy.

Glushko said the ballet stars recently arrived from Paris, France. They have been touring in almost every country and the CNMI is lucky to have world-class ballet professionals once again performing for the community.

“We should feel special to have such a high level of both experienced and talented professionals, because this rarely happens. We asked them to visit us this year that’s how they came to Saipan to join us in this weekend’s concert,” she said.

Radian said they have been to Saipan five times. They performed in one of Glushko’s Academy’s concert back in 2008 at Palms Resort Saipan, including performances in past concerts at the American Memorial Park.

“This year, aside from the Swan Lake performance, we will have a contemporary performance. We brought two new numbers that no one has ever seen yet, and one of that numbers we will be performing together. This is contemporary choreography of the 21st century,” Radian said.

Nasadovich said they are currently staying at the Mango Resort and enjoying the numerous amenities the hotel provides.

Both Radian and Nasadovich said the community can expect a world-class performance this weekend.
