Garapan Restaurant Café & Grill located along Coral St. in Garapan gets into the Halloween mood this month as it transforms some of their dishes into Halloween treats. According to general manager & director Gracia Yoo, they think of their customers as family and celebrating Halloween is always a family event.

“We try to have specials during holidays and we have three Halloween-themed dishes that people will surely enjoy. Get the Halloween Sushi Platter that is good for five to six people is only $78. It is perfect for get-togethers and group gatherings,” she said.

“The Halloween Sushi Rolls includes ‘Sorcerer Roll’ made up of tuna, tobiko, and jalapeno, for only $15,‘Frankenstein Roll’ made up of ebi tempura, spicy tuna, avocado, and ikura for only $20, ‘Count Dracula Roll’ made up of unagi tempura and salmon for only $20, ‘Goblin Roll’ made up of spicy tuna, avocado, and tobiko for only $15, and ‘Siren Rool’ made up of shrimp tempura, crab meat, tobiko avocado, and cucumber for only $20,” she added.

Yoo said that aside from the sushi rolls, they have other Halloween dishes that will surely satisfy. “First, the squid ink pasta with lots of seafood with taste that is so unique as it boasts of its gorgeous black ink from the squid but we made it creamy and has a rich briny flavor with a hint of sea saltiness. Second, the boo choo jeon or Korean chive pancake which is simply delicious and lastly, our Halloween Sushi Rolls and Halloween Sushi Platter,” she said.

They are currently serving take-out only for the safety of both the customers and staff. “But we plan to open our dine-in services sometime next month… our loyal customers love our wide-ranging menu from Japanese, Korean (including Korean BBQ), to American cuisine and even with the Halloween specials our regular menu is available,” Yoo added.
