GCA students show excellence in public speaking
“There are many types of monkey species. Orangutans are monkeys that are endangered. Their habitat is in the tropical rainforest. My advice for you is leave the endangered and non-endangered species for they will grow then you can hunt them. The cycle will grow and continue over and over again.”

This is an excerpt from Anthony Jacob Camacho De Leon Guerrero’s winning impromptu speech in the November Primary Grades Forensic Conference second monthly qualifying competition held at Chacha Oceanview Middle School.
“Jakey,” as fondly called by his family, is a consistent first place winner in impromptu speaking. He won first place in the same event last October, and he also won first place in duo interpretation in the October and November competitions, together with his 5th grade classmate, Matthew Ernest.
Winning all the five first places in both K-2 and 3-5 divisions last October and four out of the six first places in November only show that Grace Christian Academy students are excellent Impromptu speakers.
Esther Manzano, GCA’s PGFC coach/coordinator, is very proud of her students. Impromptu speaking is her favorite event of all the six events in PGFC because it is the most unpredictable, most exciting, and full of surprises. No one can tell what will happen because competitors just pick up and choose a topic and talk about it on the spot with only five minutes preparation. She believes that impromptu speaking is an excellent training ground for students to improve their public speaking.
The GCA family is very proud of all their PGFC participants and say thank you also to all the teachers and judges. Below is the list of all the November winners from K5 to 5th grade.
