The National Society of High School Scholars, NSHSS, has invited a Grace Christian Academy student to join the organization for her superior academic achievements.

On Jan. 15, GCA’s Yukianna M. Dela Cruz, daughter of Manases and Violeta Dela Cruz, was chosen to join the NSHSS, which boasts exclusive benefits for higher education and beyond to its over 1.5 million scholars from across the globe.

NSHSS founder and chairman Claes Nobel, a senior member of the family that established the Nobel Prizes, said he is honored to welcome Dela Cruz into their organization.

“On behalf of NSHSS, I am honored to recognize the hard work, sacrifice, and commitment that Dela Cruz has demonstrated to achieve this exceptional level of academic excellence. Dela Cruz is now a member of a unique community of scholars—a community that represents our very best hope for the future,” he said.

NSHSS president James W. Lewis noted the organization’s vision to provide a “lifetime membership to young scholars” to support their growth and development.

“We aim to help students like [Dela Cruz] build on their academic success by connecting them with unique learning experiences and resources to help prepare them for college and meaningful careers,” he said.

Members of the NSHSS are automatically lifetime members.
