Garapan school burglarized

Crime Stoppers is seeking the community’s assistance for information on a burglary and theft incident that occurred at Garapan Elementary School.

On Sunday, March 25, 2012, at about 7am, a security guard discovered the metal louvers to one of the fifth grade classrooms removed and the window tampered with. Computer equipment was stolen from the classroom. The stolen items include a white iMac Apple desktop computer, three silver iMac desktop computers, and a white Epson LCD projector. The stolen items are estimated to be worth over $7,000.

On Monday, March 26, 2012, at about 7:30am, a kindergarten teacher found her classroom (M-39) door open. The back door to the classroom had its doorknob broken (possible point of entry). The stolen items include a silver iMac Apple desktop computer, a white HP Laser printer, three personal old model type laptops, several surge protectors, a VHS player, a broken TV (model unknown), and a number of schoolbooks, pens, and other school supplies. The amount stolen is estimated at over $3,000.
