A futile act

As much as I want to respond to certain comments made directly at me, which were less than accurate, by ghostwriters, it is hard to accurately address it to a specific person when the identity of the writer is not known, as they hide in the dark and remain anonymous. To do so is a futile act.

While I do not hold a monopoly on public opinion, engaging in meaningful and honest discussions on issues affecting our lives is healthily required and encouraged. A disagreement over any given matter is a “natural state of event.” However, when one engages in name-calling or “obstruct” labeling with the intent to cast aspersion on someone’s character simply to score political points, that is certainly not a “natural state of event.” That leans more toward malice or injurious intent.

I will continue to express my opinions and state my position on issues that matters dearly to people of Northern Marianas descent. This is not only my responsibility as an officer of the Northern Marianas Descent Corp. but a moral obligation. As an advocate of such group, I never claimed to be “holier than thou” or exhibited an attitude of superior virtue or self-righteously pious. On the contrary, I am just as real as any other individuals on the street. I do make mistakes and made a number of them. I’ve made bad judgments in my lifetime that I am not proud of but have and will never sacrifice the honor and dignity of another person for my selfish advancement or purpose. I have personal imperfections but lack of respect is not one of them.
