Police arrested yesterday afternoon in Chalan Kanoa Jack Ngiraibuuch, a fugitive hunted for burglary and theft charges.

Sources at the Department of Public Safety disclosed that police served the arrest warrant on the 35-year-old Ngiraibuuch at his residence.

He was taken to the Department of Corrections.

On Friday, DPS released a report asking for the public’s assistance in locating the fugitive.

Police officer Jason Tarkong said that last Wednesday, Aug. 31, Superior Court associate judge Perry Inos issued an arrest warrant for Ngiraibuuch on charges of burglary and theft.

Tarkong said that DPS sought the public’s assistance after failing to find the suspect at his residence.

Tarkong advised the public not to attempt to apprehend Ngiraibuuch and instead report his location.

DPS did not provide details about the burglary and theft case.
