Federated States of Micronesia President Manny Mori has thanked Dr. Sam Mabini, provost and academic vice president of the Pacific Islands University in Guam, for inviting him to be the keynote speaker at the upcoming graduation ceremony for the university.
Mori accepted the invitation through his letter to Dr. Mabini, saying, “I am humbled by your consideration, and enthusiastically accept the invitation to deliver the keynote address at this important commencement ceremony.”

“Over the course of your long history of service to our Pacific region, many Micronesians can call themselves PIU alumni, and have been the proud beneficiaries of the excellent education provided by your fine institution of higher learning; myself and my fellow FSM citizens remain deeply grateful for your dedication and tireless efforts.”

The ceremony is scheduled for May 5.

PIU, through Mabini, has been advised to work out further details of the President’s attendance at the graduation with staff of the FSM Consulate Office in Guam. (PR)
