FSM gets $5.8M Compact aid in March

In March the Federated States of Micronesia’s Department of Finance received Compact grant assistance payments from the U.S. government totaling $5.8 million. These payments were for Compact sector grants: Health, $2,144,099; Education, $2,325,354; Infrastructure, $ 638,395; Public Sector Capacity Building, $360,174; Private Sector Development, $168,311; Environment, $143,503; and Enhanced Reporting and Accountability, $92,783.

The total amount $5,872,619 is provided to the States of the FSM as follows: Chuuk, $2,036,288; COM-FSM, $ 990,000; Kosrae, $419,400; Pohnpei, $1,382,251; and Yap, $1,044,680. (PR)
