Friends of the Arts membership meeting tonight

It’s the beginning of The Friends of the Arts new season. FOA members and the public is invited to join them for the first membership meeting of the year at the Taste of India/Templa tonight, Oct. 11, beginning at 6:30pm.

There will be the opportunity to enjoy some delicious Indian cuisine and great entertainment provided by FOA and Thespian performers. In addition, the board will bring participants up-to-date regarding the results of their planning retreat this past summer and with the calendar of all events for this upcoming Season. There will also be a chance for members to purchase season tickets that provide a discount for all of the Season’s shows.

Entertainment will include:

-Singers from the up-coming October program: Andrew Lloyd Weber Beyond Memories

-John Elenzano with his NFL National First Place Award Story-Telling Performance

The cost of the meal will be $15 for adults and young adults 12 and above, $8 for youngsters 5 up to 11, and no cost for the little ones 4 and younger. Members are urged to bring friends, to introduce them to the Friends of the Arts and to share a nice evening and a delicious buffet dinner with FOA friends.
