Guam residents interested in learning about legal services for the elderly can attend a free virtual presentation happening at 6pm on Feb. 24, Wednesday, and again at 10am on Feb. 27, Saturday. The event is being presented by the Guam/Micronesia Geriatrics Workforce Enhancement Program under the University of Guam’s School of Health.

The presentation will provide information about the Elder Justice Center, a pilot program of the Public Defender Service Corp. that provides specific civil legal services to eligible senior citizens ages 60 and older, including assistance in arranging wills, living wills, powers of attorney, and guardianship. Participants will learn about the center’s scope of services and processes and residents’ eligibility for the center’s services.
